Region 68 is committed to the safety of all players, volunteers, spectators, and families. When returning to play this Fall, the Region will abide by all state and local requirements, including those related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Masks are welcomed and encouraged in most circumstances, but the Region will not require players to be masked while playing. In accordance with CDC and state guidelines, however, it is recommended that all unvaccinated persons wear a mask while attending large gatherings. We also ask that if you are unvaccinated that you try to maintain a six-foot separation from other spectators on the sidelines and/or while attending practice. Please respect other persons’ choices to avoid close contact and to, or not to, wear a mask.
If you or a family member experience any symptoms, we request that you stay home and not attend practices or games. If symptoms develop while at practices or games, please notify your coach immediately and leave the AYSO event.

Other things that will be different due to COVID
● Prepackaged snacks
● Rather than high fives and parent tunnels, we ask that teams line up on the field and clap for their opponent. We encourage parents to stand and clap as well
● Time is being added in between games to allow for less contact when coming and going. This should also relieve some parking congestion.
