Sign-up to Referee a Game

Fall 2024 Online Referee Sign-ups for 10U-14U Games @ CGISports

All referees must register for the Fall 2024 season at CGISports.com
Your username and password from last year will NOT work and you have to re-register each year
All referees must have completed their Regional Referee Training or higher
All referees must have taken Safe Haven and CDC Concussion Awareness Training
You will receive an email confirmation when approved to referee and sign-up for games
Sign up for games will occur approximately one week before opening day

Referee Game Assignment Rules

Referee open game assignments will post every Sunday at 5:00 pm
Two weeks of games will be available for sign up
Check in at the Ref Tent a minimum of 30 minutes prior to your game assignment
Please do not sign up for back-to-back Referee (Center) assignments we will move your to AR
One point per game is awarded to the referee's team for all 10U to 14U games
Two points per game is awarded to the referee's team for all 16/19 games, must be qualified
Max 2 points a week per team!
Teams can only earn one point per week with a Youth Referee
No points for refereeing 6U, 7U and 8U games

Referee Scheduling:

Drops: Cut-off for referees to drop games are Thursday before midnight prior to Saturday's games. If you miss this cut off for drops, e-mail us at [email protected]
Sign-up Cut-offs: Thursday before midnight prior to Saturday's games. (Allows the referee staff time to format and print game day assignments.)
Missed Sign Ups: Come to the referee tent on game day earlier in the day to see if we can find a game for you.

Information

Game cards: Team game cards must be filled by the coach prior to player check of a match. This includes players' first and last names, player jersey numbers, coaches and assistant coaches first and last names. Please politely return the cards back to the coach if the cards are not properly filled out prior to a match. Coaches should not mark quarters when players will sit out prior to the game. This is the referees job.
